About this Month's Lineup:

Chloé Hilliard is a comedian, TV writer, and award-winning author. Her humor stems from being the awkward “big girl” who had plenty of time to observe others. It’s an experience she writes vividly about in her debut book F*ck Your Diet, a collection of essays addressing weight, diet culture, feminism, politics, and more. F*ck Your Diet was named Best Comedy Book of 2020 by the African American Literary Awards.

As a stand-up comedian, Chloé made her late-night talk show debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, her network debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing and spent years touring the country. Her other TV appearances include Comedy Central’s This Week at the Comedy Cellar, the comedy docuseries Dark Humor, The Nightly Show and most recently Wilmore, a limited Peacock political late-night series where she also served as a staff writer. Chloé has also produced and written for reality, game shows and news programming. She's also a writer and producer on HBO's Emmy award-winning series, A Black Lady Sketch Show

Nick Taravella is a comedian based out of Los Angeles. He has toured the country performing at clubs such as the Improv, Comedy Store and more. He was selected for the world-renown SF Sketchfest and has also appeared on Showtime and CBS's Stand Up Showcase. Apart from stand up, he is also a writer known for his work in the thriller and horror genres. He co-wrote the 2013 film "Crawlspace," a horror-thriller that has garnered national attention and critical acclaim.

Matt Torkelson is a stand-up comedian from Merrill, Wisconsin, who began his comedy career in Los Angeles in 2016. Since then, he has toured extensively, performing in over 20 cities, and has opened for notable comedians such as Charlie Berens, Michael Rapaport, and Josh Wolf. His comedy often draws from his experiences growing up in rural Wisconsin, touching on themes of family and maintaining his athletic build. In 2019, Torkelson returned to Merrill to perform alongside fellow comedian Trevor Anderson, bringing his LA comedy experience back to his hometown. He continues to connect with audiences through his performances nationwide.

Julia Austin is an LA-based comedian who has been gracing stages with her self-deprecating and relatable humor since 2011. After being named a Top Comic to Watch by Time Out LA in 2020, Julia went on to perform in the Netflix is a Joke festival, appear in FuseTV’s “Fresh Faces of Comedy” special, and open for world-renowned headliner Orny Adams. Through her comedy, Julia brings levity to life’s challenges, hoping to teach audiences to find the funny in the toughest moments.
