About this Month's Lineup:
John Hastings has been performing stand-up since 2006. He has won the Montreal Comedy Festival Home-grown Comedy Competition has been called "one to watch" by the Comedy Network and was the only Canadian Finalist of the 2011 San Francisco Comedy Competition and the youngest comedian to appear at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival in 2011.
In 2012 John won the COCA comedian of the year award and then moved to London England which gave him the opportunity to be featured on BBC Radio 4, BBC as a comedy correspondent and be selected to appear in the Comedy Reserve Showcase at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 2013. In 2014 John appeared at the Glasgow Comedy Festival as part of the Homecoming Showcase as well as the Leicester, Nottingham and Machynlleth Comedy Festival. John then debuted his new stand up show "Adventure" at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival and appeared on BBC3's Sean Walsh Late Night Comedy Spectacular. John was then invited to be part of the Best of the Edinburgh Fest tour at the Perth World Fringe, Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival. John was also invited to participate in a gala at the 2015 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival capping of 2015 John returned to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his new show 'Marked from the Start' which earned a nomination for the Amused Moose Comedy Award.
Then in 2016, John returned to the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe with a new show called "Integrity" which also ran in the West End of London and helped John get a spot on the Australian Comedy Channel. When not touring John wrote the short film "Who is Hannah" which won both the People's choice award, the Jury Prize at the Lakeshorts Film Festival and has been purchased for air by the CBC. He is also a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and one hell of a swimmer.Currently residing in Los Angeles, John has had a rough couple of years after continually being punched in the balls by life! When not turning tragedy into jokes, John has appeared on Comedy Central, BBC 3 (when it was a TV Channel the first time), Radio 4 and on America’s Got Talent!
Oh and lets not forget that Dennis Rodman heckled him at a comedy club.
Christie Bahna is an Egyptian-American comic, writer, and voice actor based in Los Angeles. As a native Angelino and attorney, Christie’s work explores the malleability of identity; the woes of LA’s image-obsessed culture; and the downsides of having a law degree. (Christie cannot help you with your DUI.)
Christie has performed at the Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, New York Comedy Club, The Stand (NY), Mic Drop San Diego, and other spots around the country. She has been selected for the Big Pine Comedy Festival (Best of Fest 2025); Limestone Comedy Festival; SF Sketchfest; the Oakland Comedy Festival; the World Series of Comedy; Fountain City Comedy Festival; Upper Left Fest; and the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
Christie portrayed the role of Queen Nefertiti in the newest installment of Disney’s Night at the Museum franchise, and she has voiced characters for Disney+, Marvel Studios, Bethesda Games, and Penguin Random House Audio.
After graduating college and working marketing jobs that sucked the soul out of his being with a straw, Mike Kim decided to trade it all for the pursuit of happiness. He is happy. He is unstable. He is Hunstable. He now performs at comedy clubs all across the nation. You might’ve seen him on Cartoon Network (well heard him) or randomly on Instagram or TikTok where he has amassed over 100,000 followers and over 500,000 followers accordingly. He also regularly performs at the Laugh Factory, Improv and more and has been featured in Shoutout LA magazine.
Dante Gonzalez-Abreu is an actor and comedian of Cuban and El Salvadorian descent based in Los Angeles, California. Dante has performed at comedy clubs across the country including the comedy store, improv and more. He has also made is film debut in Blue Beetle from DC and Warner Brothers and can be seen on HBO Max.
