About This Month's Lineup:

AHMED AL-KADRI is a Yemeni-American comedian based in LA. As a young child in Dallas, Ahmed dreamed of being an accountant, but his immigrant parents forced him to be a comedian instead. Ahmed started developing his comedy skills early, doing impressions of his mom’s Turkish soap operas and Mr. Bean, as well as spot-on imitations of his sister and brothers.  Ahmed was one of those kids who was friends with everybody, memorizing one-liners from his dad and trying them out on the kids at school the next day.  Between go-kart races and soccer with his five siblings, Ahmed had a classic American childhood, playing “ding-dong ditch” and throwing Taco Bell sauce packets at cars. In 2018, Ahmed moved to LA to pursue a career in standup.  Over the last year, Ahmed has gained a large following on TikTok and Instagram, thanks to crowd-favorite sketches like "Roommates with Anxiety," "Arab at an Indian Wedding” and the “Arab Roommate” series, which compliments long-time friend Ryan Kelly’s series, “When You Have A Midwest Roommate.”  A viral hit, his "F-Boi Rehab" series was featured on both Buzzfeed and DankMemes. You may also recognize Ahmed from his appearance as Liam on the web-series "David Diamondhands" and on Fox's Love Connection (Season 2, Episode 8) It wasn’t a match, but at least he got a good story out of it!

ROB HAZE is a comedian from Atlanta, Georgia.  Rob’s standup has been featured on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show, Comedy Central, and Viceland. He was also on the 9th season of NBC's Last Comic Standing. He has made appearances on HLN News Now, and can be heard as a personality on the Ryan Cameron morning show. Rob was named by Creative Loafing one of the 25 people to watch in 2015. In 2012 Rob was a finalist in NBC Stand Up for Diversity and was a part of there 2013 college tour. Rob has a podcast called The Inconsistent Podcast with Rob Haze and a stand up album called Haze-o-pedia. Starting making funny poems at college poetry nights, Rob started performing stand up while studying Political Science in college. Rob shares his gift of comedy at clubs, colleges, and corporations all over the country. Rob prides himself on bringing people together rather than tearing them apart.

MONAREY MARTINEZ is originally from Buffalo, NY. Moved to Los Angeles to fail at life where at least the sun shines year round. She performs sketch, improv, and standup locally in Los Angeles. She regularly performs at clubs around the city including the Laugh Factory, Improv and more! This year she was a featured comedian at the 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Festival and released her debut special through LMAOF. She is also one of the hosts of the Recovering Toxaholic Podcast. Also, she really wants a dog.

JUSTIN CLARK is a stand up comedian and writer from Seattle, WA. Now based in Los Angeles, Justin’s performed at festivals and colleges across the country including Bumbershoot, Big Pine Comedy Festival, and the University of Connecticut. He’s also written for Disney’s “Oh My Disney” show. His comedy is characterized by its dark, sarcastic, and biting tone which he uses to illustrate the humor and absurdity in everything from divorce to homelessness. He feels most comfortable around strong, black women.

Doors will open at 7:30 PM. The show will start at 8. Drinks will be available at the Hermosa Brewing Company. Food is BYO/Food Truck provided. Show is 21+.
