About this Month's Lineup:
Ahmed Al-Kadri is a Yemeni-American comedian based in LA. As a young child in Dallas, Ahmed dreamed of being an accountant, but his immigrant parents forced him to be a comedian instead. Ahmed started developing his comedy skills early, doing impressions of his mom’s Turkish soap operas and Mr. Bean, as well as spot-on imitations of his sister and brothers. Ahmed was one of those kids who was friends with everybody, memorizing one-liners from his dad and trying them out on the kids at school the next day. Between go-kart races and soccer with his five siblings, Ahmed had a classic American childhood, playing “ding-dong ditch” and throwing Taco Bell sauce packets at cars. In 2018, Ahmed moved to LA to pursue a career in standup. Over the last year, Ahmed has gained a large following on TikTok and Instagram, thanks to crowd-favorite sketches like "Roommates with Anxiety," "Arab at an Indian Wedding” and the “Arab Roommate” series, which compliments long-time friend Ryan Kelly’s series, “When You Have A Midwest Roommate.” A viral hit, his "F-Boi Rehab" series was featured on both Buzzfeed and DankMemes. You may also recognize Ahmed from his appearance as Liam on the web-series "David Diamondhands" and on Fox's Love Connection (Season 2, Episode 8) It wasn’t a match, but at least he got a good story out of it!
Conner McNutt is comedian and writer from Los Angeles now living in Brooklyn. Conners standup has been featured on Comedy Central and he co-starred in the Amazon Prime series Kwaczala. Back in Los Angeles he hosted one of the city's most successful monthly stand up shows at the world famous Hollywood Improv. In his freetime, Conner half-asses writing his bio.
Liz Zagone is a Chicago-born comedian, writer, and actor based in Los Angeles, California. Her comedic style blends personal anecdotes with sharp observations, often drawing from her family experiences. She began her stand-up career in her late 20s after taking a writing class at Second City, which reignited her passion for comedy. In addition to performing, Liz co-produces the "Bitch and Purge" comedy show. Liz's has been featured in Shoutout LA and Canvas Rebel Magazine and she can regularly be seen performing at comedy clubs such as the Laugh Factory, Improv and more!
Channing Apodaca is a Los Angeles-based comedian and actor originally from the Antelope Valley, California. He is a former member of the Groundlings and regularly performs at venues across the city including The Comedy Store, Improv, Laugh Factory and more! In addition to his stand-up and improv work, he hosts the storytelling podcast "All Ears With Channing Apodaca," where he shares real stories told by the people involved. Channing has also appeared in films like "Alien Siege" (2018) and "Viper Squad" (2021).
